The New York Law Journal has released its annual NYLJ 100 ranking, which lists the largest law firms in New York based on attorney headcount. Despite a slowdown in M&A activity and corporate practices, three-quarters of the law firms saw an increase in headcount. Kirkland & Ellis topped the list with 795 attorneys in New York, followed closely by Davis Polk and Paul Weiss. The rankings provide insights into the growth and size of law firms in the city.
