Software CEO Worth $12 Billion Bucks Return to Office Trend in Big Tech

Atlassian implemented a Team Anywhere policy in 2020, prioritizing flexible work and focusing on output rather than location. Farquhar believes this approach allows employees to manage cost-of-living pressures and has not seen a drop in productivity. Other tech CEOs, such as Amazon's Andy Jassy, are pushing for employees to return to the office at least part-time, citing improved collaboration and productivity. However, some companies like Airbnb continue to embrace flexible work, calling employees in only when collaboration is necessary.
