Delta Alters Uniform Policy Amid Palestinian Flag Pin Controversy
TL;DR
Delta Airlines apologized after a social media team member responded to a tweet calling Palestinian flag pins "Hamas badges" by agreeing with the sentiment. The response, which was not in line with Delta's values, led to the employee being counseled and a policy change allowing only American flag pins on uniforms. The incident has sparked backlash from Palestinian activists and others on social media.
