Border Patrol arrest rewrites a Florida bakery’s cinnamon roll mystery

A Sunrise, Florida bakery claimed an Uber driver stole about 350 of its viral cinnamon rolls worth $3,100 after the delivery failed to reach the market. Police later determined no theft occurred; the driver, Ivan Dario Rico Molano, a Colombian citizen, was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol en route to the delivery. The cinnamon rolls were recovered and returned to the owner, but had to be discarded because they could not be sold, leaving the bakery with a $3,100 loss.
