Arrest made in armed robbery of postal worker.

A postal delivery worker was robbed at gunpoint in Dothan, Alabama, while on his route delivering mail. The suspect demanded personal property from the worker, who complied in fear of his life. The suspect fled on foot, but was located by officers a few blocks away. The stolen property and weapon used during the robbery were recovered. Jermain Tyrone Holmes, 38, was charged with robbery and receiving stolen property. The United States Postal Inspector’s Office will pursue federal charges against Holmes.
