"Arrested: Flight Attendant Accused of Secretly Filming Minors on Boston-Bound Flight"

A former American Airlines flight attendant, Estes Carter Thompson III, was arrested and charged with attempted sexual exploitation of children and possession of child pornography after allegedly using a phone to secretly record a young girl in a plane lavatory. The incident occurred on a flight from Charlotte to Boston, and investigators also found videos of four other minor girls in plane lavatories on flights where Thompson worked. American Airlines stated that Thompson was immediately withheld from service and has not worked since the incident, and the airline has been fully cooperating with investigators. If convicted, Thompson could face at least 15 to 30 years in prison for the attempted sexual exploitation charge and at least five to 20 years for the possession of child pornography charge.
