Burglars posing as Amazon delivery workers target Oakland homes

Thieves dressed as Amazon delivery drivers are breaking into homes in Oakland, according to police. The burglars, wearing Amazon delivery driver vests, approach residences and force their way in when no one answers the door. Amazon spokespersons said they were unsure whether the thieves were actual Amazon delivery drivers, but would cooperate with police during the investigation. Residents are advised to make their homes look occupied at all times and take measures to make break-ins difficult.
