Crypto King Abducted and Tortured for Ransom in Canada.

Aiden Pleterski, a self-proclaimed "crypto king" from Canada, was allegedly kidnapped and tortured for three days by attackers demanding a $3 million ransom. Pleterski is embroiled in a bankruptcy controversy in which he allegedly spent nearly $16 million on lavish vacations, expensive cars, and private planes instead of investing over $40 million. While held captive, Pleterski contacted his landlord and asked for the ransom. According to reports, Pleterski actually invested under 2% of the funds.
