From Turtlenecks to Khaki: Elizabeth Holmes Begins Prison Sentence.

Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced former CEO of Theranos, will begin serving her more than 11-year sentence at a minimum-security women's prison in Texas on May 30. She will be required to wear khaki prison garb, wake up at 6 a.m., and work in a prison job related to packing food in a factory line, which can pay as little as 12 cents per hour. Holmes was convicted on four counts of fraud and conspiracy in January 2022 and was denied her request to remain out of prison while appealing her conviction.
