West Side Bars Targeted in String of Break-Ins, Owners Fight Back.

Several bars and restaurants in West Town and the Near West Side of Chicago were burglarized early Tuesday morning. The Cobra Lounge was hit for the second time this month, while the Noble Irishman Pub and Tuman’s Tap and Grill were also targeted. Surveillance footage showed a man breaking into the bars and stealing cash drawers. The owner of the Noble Irishman Pub believes the same man was involved in a previous break-in. Police have no one in custody and are investigating whether the incidents are connected.
