Crypto Fugitive Do Kwon Arrested in Montenegro by Interpol

Interpol has confirmed the arrest of Do Kwon, the founder of the collapsed crypto company behind TerraUSD and Luna, in Montenegro. Kwon, who is wanted in South Korea and the US on fraud and other charges, was identified through a fingerprint match. He had been in hiding since leaving Singapore via Dubai and had repeatedly claimed on Twitter that he was not "on the run." The collapse of TerraUSD and Luna wiped about $40bn from the crypto market and set off panic across the speculative sector.
