Delcath Systems Receives FDA Approval for Hepzato Kit, Boosting Stock and Cancer Treatment Options

Delcath Systems, Inc. has received FDA approval for its HEPZATO KIT, making it the only liver-directed therapy approved for the treatment of adult patients with metastatic uveal melanoma (mUM) with unresectable hepatic metastases. The approval includes both treatment-naïve and previously treated patients and is not limited by HLA genotype. HEPZATO KIT allows for the delivery of melphalan directly to the liver, providing a new treatment option for this rare and aggressive form of cancer. The company plans to have commercial product available in the fourth quarter.
