Hartford Hospital Unveils $950M Tower as Centerpiece of Bold Campus Redevelopment

Hartford Hospital announced a $950 million, 14-story inpatient and surgical tower as the centerpiece of more than $1 billion in campus modernization, set to open in 2031 with 216 private beds and 20 surgical areas, plus an arrival center with a new 1,000-space parking garage, restaurant and conference center, and an expanded emergency department and urgent-care options — all funded by bonds, the endowment and philanthropy to raise the hospital’s national profile.
