European Solidarity: Tesla Faces Growing Union Blockade as Scandinavian Countries Join Swedish Strike

Norway's largest private sector labor union, Fellesforbundet, has announced plans to block transit shipments of Tesla cars destined for the Swedish market in support of striking mechanics in Sweden. This move follows similar actions by Swedish dockworkers and various other labor groups in Sweden. The union aims to send a strong message to Tesla and ensure that vehicle shipments from Norway to Sweden are halted. The actions are set to begin on December 20th. Tesla has a policy of not agreeing to collective bargaining, but Nordic labor unions argue that the company's refusal challenges workers' rights and established norms in the region. Denmark's 3F labor union has also pledged support by refusing to unload or transport Tesla cars for customers in Sweden.
