Teamsters Local Unions Seal Endorsement Deal with UPS

The Teamsters local unions, representing 340,000 workers at UPS, have voted overwhelmingly to endorse a tentative agreement reached with the delivery giant. The agreement includes historic wage increases, an additional paid holiday, air conditioning in delivery trucks, and the elimination of a two-tier pay system and forced overtime for drivers. The rank and file of UPS Teamsters will have the opportunity to vote on ratification from August 3 to 22.
