Unions in Sweden, including electricians and dockworkers, have expanded their blockade against Tesla in an effort to pressure the company into signing a collective bargaining agreement with its mechanics. The labor action, which began with a strike by the autoworkers' union IF Metall, has now spread to dockworkers refusing to unload cars and electricians halting repair work at Tesla's charging stations. Unions representing cleaners and postal workers have also joined the strike efforts. Tesla, which does not produce vehicles in Sweden but has several service facilities, has found ways to continue operations despite the strikes. In Germany, union leaders have expressed support for the Swedish workers and are seeking to organize Tesla employees at the gigafactory near Berlin.
