Tesla Faces Scandinavian Union Revolt as Strikes Spread and Shipments Halted

Norway's largest private sector labor union, Fellesforbundet, has announced that it will begin blocking transit shipments of Tesla cars destined for the Swedish market in support of striking mechanics in Sweden. This move follows similar actions by Swedish unions and dockworkers who refuse to unload Tesla cars. The Norwegian union aims to send a clear signal to Tesla and ensure that vehicle shipments via Norway to Sweden are blocked. Tesla has a policy of not agreeing to collective bargaining, but Nordic labor unions argue that the company's refusal challenges workers' rights to negotiate wages and conditions. Denmark's 3F labor union has also pledged support by refusing to unload or transport Tesla cars for customers in Sweden.
