Tesla's Union Troubles in Sweden: Garbage Pileups and Angry Letters Spark Dispute

The Transport Workers' Union in Sweden is escalating its protest against Tesla's anti-union policies by refusing to pick up waste at the automaker's workshops. This comes in solidarity with Tesla autoworkers who have been on strike since October 27th. The union actions began with dockworkers refusing to unload Tesla vehicles, followed by postal workers refusing to deliver mail, including license plates. Tesla initially won the right to pick up license plates directly from the Transport Agency but a court has put a pause on the ruling. The strike is set to begin on December 24th. Tesla has faced resistance to unionization efforts in the US as well.
