Renown to Build Standalone Children's Hospital With $40M Gift

Renown Health announced plans to construct a standalone Renown Children’s Hospital in northern Nevada, funded by a $40 million gift from philanthropist Tom Golisano and joining the Golisano Children’s Alliance. The gift is the largest in Renown’s history and will expand its pediatric services, which include the region’s only dedicated pediatric ER, a Level II pediatric trauma center, a NICU, and a PICU, serving thousands of children annually and strengthening ties with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.
