Family seeks answers as HPD probes death of Southwest flight attendant in Waikiki

Honolulu police continue investigating the death of 50-year-old Jenny Lupton, a Southwest Airlines flight attendant from Oklahoma, who was found in Waikiki on Aug. 20. Lupton’s family questions the circumstances and has asked the Oklahoma Attorney General to advocate for a fuller investigation, saying they do not believe she harmed herself. HPD’s Homicide Detail is interviewing witnesses, reviewing surveillance video, and examining evidence, with no confirmed manner of death and information being withheld to protect the integrity of the investigation.
