Masked thieves swipe half-pallet of Black Angus ribs in South Philadelphia

Police say four masked suspects cut the hinges on the rear door of a trailer outside Ritter Foods on South 3rd Street around 1 a.m., loaded about half a pallet of Black Angus beef ribs into a dark-colored Ford F-150, and fled with a Jeep in pursuit or accompaniment; the theft is under investigation and echoes prior meat theft incidents in the area.
