Tucson Realtor duct-taped to seat after midair outburst

A 67-year-old Tucson real estate agent, Layne Lundeen, was restrained by flight crew and two passengers with duct tape and zip ties after allegedly becoming belligerent on a Dallas-to-Newark flight that diverted to Baltimore. He allegedly shouted racial slurs at crew and passengers; the plane continued to its destination after the restraint. Lundeen was arrested by Maryland Transportation Authority Police on suspicion of disorderly conduct and second-degree assault. He is listed as part of Long Realty’s Tanque Verde Trio Team and has lived in the Tucson area since the late 1980s.
