Georgia Residents Strike Gold with $2 Million and $1 Million Powerball Wins

The Powerball jackpot has rolled over to $725 million after no one matched all the winning numbers. However, two winning tickets were sold in Georgia, with one winning $1 million and the other winning $2 million with a Power Play. The Georgia Lottery has yet to confirm where the tickets were sold. Winners of prizes over $600 must claim their prize at the lottery headquarters or district offices, or mail in their claim form. Online ticket winners have 180 days to claim their prize, while instant ticket winners have 90 days.
