Former Apple Engineer Indicted for Stealing Autonomous Car Tech for China and Fleeing to the Country.

Weibao Wang, a former Apple employee, has been accused by the US government of stealing trade secrets from Apple's self-driving car division, including the company's "autonomous" source code. Wang is currently an executive at Jidu, an electric vehicle joint venture between Chinese internet company Baidu and Chinese car maker Geely. The US government is concerned that Beijing is using various tactics to steal proprietary information from American companies, including "corrupting insiders." Wang is the third former Apple employee from China to be accused of stealing trade secrets from Apple's self-driving car division.
