Geoffrey Hinton, A.I. Pioneer, Leaves Google and Issues Warning

Dr. Geoffrey Hinton, an artificial intelligence pioneer and former Google employee, has quit his job to speak out about the risks of AI. He warns that generative AI, which powers popular chatbots like ChatGPT, could be a tool for misinformation, a risk to jobs, and eventually a risk to humanity.
