IBM's Quantum Computing Breakthroughs Pave the Way for Revolutionary Science

IBM has unveiled its new quantum computing chip, Quantum System Two, which uses three "Heron" cryogenically cooled chips and aims to serve as the foundation for larger and faster quantum systems. IBM's new approach to connecting chips and machines, along with an error-correction code, could lead to the development of quantum machines by 2033.
