Streaming Services Crack Down: Hulu Joins Disney+ and Netflix

Hulu will begin cracking down on password sharing for existing users in mid-March, with changes to its subscriber agreement restricting sharing outside of an owner's household. Disney CEO Bob Iger had previously foreshadowed this move, and the new agreement specifies that account holders may not share their subscription outside their household unless their service tier allows it. Violations could result in limited or terminated service, and the changes will come into force for existing subscribers on March 14.
