Twitter took legal action to have the leaked information removed from GitHub and asked a federal court to reveal who shared the code and identify any other people that downloaded it. The leaker, who went by the name "FreeSpeechEnthusiast" on GitHub, left the company last year. Elon Musk, who bought Twitter for $44 billion in October, has faced turmoil since becoming CEO.
