Google's Wing service demonstrated its autonomous aerial fleet by dropping a package into Denver's Coors Field baseball stadium, marking the first delivery to a professional sports stadium. The company has been investing heavily in drone-delivery technology, with 300,000 commercial drone deliveries made in the US, Europe, and Australia. While Amazon's Prime Air has only made about 100 deliveries in the US, Walmart and its partners completed 6,000 deliveries in the country. However, drone deliveries remain largely experimental due to regulatory restrictions and challenges such as programming drones to avoid obstacles and determining whether the drop site is clear.
