Delta Passengers Stranded on Island Told to Be Grateful Plane Didn't Crash

Passengers on a Delta flight from Ghana to New York were left stranded for 12 hours on the Portuguese island of Terceira after the plane was diverted due to issues with the oxygen supply. Passengers complained of being abandoned by Delta and treated poorly by airport representatives, with some being told to drink water from bathroom faucets and beg for food. They were eventually taken to a partitioned section of the airport, but faced further delays and confusion. Passengers were eventually transported to JFK without their luggage.
