Gateside by TSA PreCheck Opens Post-Security Access at 13 U.S. Airports

TSA is piloting Gateside by TSA PreCheck, a complimentary benefit that lets eligible PreCheck members enter secure post-security areas without a flight to greet someone or spend time during layovers. The pilot covers 13 airports (LIT, CMH, DFW, DTW, IND, LAS, LAX, AZA, OKC, OMA, SLC, SAN, ICT) with plans to add more. Access is arranged via login.gov through a Gateside portal; applications must be completed no earlier than 3 days and no later than 1 day before the requested visit date and are available only to TSA PreCheck members or Known Traveler Numbers. The program is currently in the pilot phase and aims for broader rollout if successful.
