The Airport Service Quality survey revealed that LaGuardia, alongside Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, was chosen as the best midsize airport, with an overall satisfaction score of 4.25 out of 5. Despite the improvements, some passengers still criticize the lack of convenient mass transit options and lingering past issues. The airport's overhaul, completed in 2023, includes a Central Terminal Building and concourses inspired by New York City's parks, marking a significant turnaround from its previous reputation as the worst airport in the country.
