Life at Sea Cruises has canceled its three-year sailing around the world, leaving passengers awaiting refunds. The cruise, which was originally scheduled to depart from Istanbul on November 1, was scrapped earlier this month due to challenges faced by the company. Passengers were notified of the cancellation after some had already arrived in Istanbul. Prices for the cruise started at just under $30,000 per year, and some passengers had sold their homes to afford the trip. The company has promised full refunds and reimbursement for travel expenses.
