Harris, the playwright behind "Slave Play," helped to arrange a last-minute transfer of an acclaimed revival of Lorraine Hansberry's "The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window" from the Brooklyn Academy of Music to Broadway for a 10-week engagement. Harris hopes to remind people that Hansberry's body of work extended beyond "A Raisin in the Sun" and to uplift lesser-known work to reshape what is seen in the canon of American theater.
