TL;DR

Alex Cooper pushed back on Dave Portnoy’s bombshell memoir claim that she and Sofia Franklyn planned to fake sexual-harassment allegations to exit Barstool Sports, telling CNBC that Portnoy has his version and she has hers and that she’s not seeking drama. She notes Portnoy helped launch her career, but she hasn’t read his memoir yet. Meanwhile, Cooper left Barstool in 2021 for a Spotify deal and moved to SiriusXM in 2024; Franklyn is set to address their fallout in a forthcoming memoir.
