YFN Lucci Sentenced to Prison on Gang Charge After Guilty Plea

Rapper YFN Lucci, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, has pleaded guilty to violating Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act and has been sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by 10 years on probation. He was facing charges including murder and racketeering and will not cooperate in any other case as a condition of his plea. Prosecutors allege that Bennett was associated with a faction of The Bloods street gang and had come into conflict with the YSL gang, with alleged discussions of getting permission to kill him by members of YSL, including rapper Young Thug.
