Arrests Made in TikTok Star Cooper Noriega's Fatal Overdose Case

Two men have been arrested for allegedly supplying TikTok star Cooper Noriega with drugs that caused his fatal overdose at the age of 19. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner ruled that Noriega died from a combination of alprazolam, fentanyl, and lorazepam. Investigators have arrested and charged Erik Oved Estrada, who allegedly ran an illegal drug operation, and Arian Alani, who allegedly sold fentanyl-laced pills to Noriega. Noriega's father expressed gratitude for the arrests. Noriega had previously spoken about his struggles with addiction and mental health. The drugs involved, including fentanyl, are known to be highly potent and dangerous.
