Disney World Hotel VP Accused of Drunkenly Assaulting Teenage Restaurant Hostess

John Munro, a 64-year-old Vice President of Hospitality, Sales, and Marketing at Sea Pines Resort, was arrested and charged with battery after allegedly slapping a 19-year-old hostess at a Walt Disney World restaurant for refusing to seat him due to the dress code. Munro, who was reportedly intoxicated and not dressed according to the restaurant's code, followed the group to their table and slapped the hostess three times on the forehead. He has been placed on administrative leave and is expected to appear in court for a pre-trial conference hearing on Feb. 16.
