Jimmie Allen, a Grammy-nominated country star, has been accused of rape and sexual assault by a former day-to-day manager. The woman alleges that Allen repeatedly subjected her to sexual abuse and harassment over a period of 18 months, including an alleged rape in March 2021. Allen denies the allegations and claims that he had a consensual sexual relationship with his former manager. The woman is suing Allen, as well as her former employer, Wide Open Music, and its founder, Ash Bowers, for sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, sex trafficking, and emotional distress.
