French rapper MHD, known for popularizing "Afro trap," has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for his involvement in the murder of a young man in Paris in 2018. MHD, whose real name is Mohamed Sylla, was found guilty of being part of a group that beat and stabbed the victim after knocking him down with a car.
