Harvey Weinstein will not face retrial on LA charges.

An Australian actress, Kate Jaggard, who had her charges against Harvey Weinstein dropped, has thanked the four other women who testified against the convicted rapist. Weinstein was accused of sexual assault and rape by several women, including model Lauren Young and Jennifer Siebel Newsom, wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom. LA prosecutors have announced that they will not retry Weinstein over more sexual assault charges which left a jury deadlocked. Weinstein is already serving 16 years in prison for assaults on an unnamed Russian-born Italian model.
