"Life Sentence for Murderer of Drew Carey's Ex-Fiancee and Hollywood Sex Therapist"
TL;DR
Gareth Pursehouse, the man convicted of killing Drew Carey's ex-fiancee, Dr. Amie Harwick, has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Pursehouse broke into Harwick's home in 2020 and attacked her before throwing her off a third-story balcony. The prosecution argued that the crime was motivated by Pursehouse's inability to move on from their past relationship. Despite the defense's claim that Harwick may have fallen on her own, the jury found Pursehouse guilty of first-degree murder.
