Prosecutors allege that the weapons supervisor on the set of "Rust" was drinking and smoking marijuana during filming and was likely hungover when she loaded a live bullet into the revolver that Alec Baldwin used to fatally shoot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The prosecutors responded to a motion filed by Hannah Gutierrez-Reed's attorneys seeking to dismiss her involuntary manslaughter charge, accusing her of reckless conduct and stating that it would be in the public interest for her to be held accountable. The prosecutors also noted that they may recharge Baldwin depending on the results of further testing on the gun and its broken sear. A preliminary hearing for Gutierrez-Reed is scheduled in August.
