Teenager Admits to Killing Pop Smoke in Shooting Incident.

An 18-year-old man has confessed to killing rapper Pop Smoke during a home invasion in 2020. The defendant, who was 15 at the time of the crime, admitted to first-degree murder, home-invasion robbery, and intentionally discharging a firearm during the crime. He was charged in juvenile court and could remain incarcerated in a state juvenile facility until he turns 25. This confession comes after a 20-year-old man was sentenced to four years and two months in a juvenile facility for his involvement in the murder.
