Kid Rock's Controversial Protest: Shooting Bud Light Amid Anti-Trans Backlash.
TL;DR
Kid Rock filmed himself shooting cases of Bud Light with an assault rifle and flipping off the camera, after the brand partnered with trans actor and activist Dylan Mulvaney. Other right-wing figures also expressed outrage, with some calling for a boycott of the beer brand. However, the performative destruction of Bud Light does not hurt the manufacturer's bottom line. The controversy has sparked seething monologues, memes, and promises of boycotts that will likely be forgotten.
