'Beetlejuice' sequel set for 2022 release.

A sequel to the 1988 cult classic "Beetlejuice" is set to arrive in theaters on Sept. 6, 2024, with Michael Keaton expected to return as the titular character and Winona Ryder reprising her role as Lydia Deetz. Jenna Ortega will also join the cast to play Lydia's daughter. The plot of the upcoming film is still unknown, but the original film has become a favorite among Tim Burton fans and was later adapted as a Broadway musical.
