Descendants Dives into Sidekick Legacy with New Musical Tale

Disney expands the Descendants universe with Hidden Heroes: A Descendants Story, a musical adventure on Disney Channel and Disney+ that centers on the descendants of iconic sidekicks as they train at Sidekick Academy to save the fairy-tale realm without the heroes. The film stars Dior Goodjohn, Momona Tamada, Jacob Rodriguez, Eva Fossaceca Smedley and Harry Jones, and is directed by Jude Weng, with writers Tamara Chestna, Eydie Faye and Emma Fletcher; production begins soon, building on the franchise’s recent Wicked Wonderland and live-event momentum.
