Dwayne Johnson hints at Moana live-action remake.

Dwayne Johnson announced he will be reprising his role as Maui in a live-action version of Disney's Moana. The actor shared a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram of himself enjoying quality family time in Hawaii with his wife and daughters, who wore sundresses reminiscent of Moana's. Johnson drew inspiration for Maui from his late grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia. His eldest daughter, Simone, also made her WWE debut over the weekend. Johnson said bringing Maui to life is a way of honoring his grandfather's spirit.
