Jamie Foxx Recovers and is Awake and Alert, Nick Cannon Gives Update.

Jamie Foxx is reportedly awake and alert after suffering a medical complication earlier this month, according to his friend Nick Cannon. Foxx's family had previously released a statement saying he was on his way to recovery. Cannon did not disclose the nature of Foxx's ailment but shared that he is doing much better and alluded to a joint project they plan to announce soon. Foxx has been hospitalized in Atlanta since April 11 and his condition was serious enough that his family members traveled there to see him.
