Jane Fonda Reveals Jennifer Lopez Never Apologized for On-Set Injury

Jane Fonda claimed on The Drew Barrymore Show that Jennifer Lopez never apologized for cutting her face with a diamond ring during a slapping scene in their 2005 film Monster-in-Law. Fonda also took a dig at Lopez's taste in jewelry. However, Lopez addressed the incident in 2019, saying she did apologize and that Fonda didn't seem to mind the purple blister above her eye. The two actresses had agreed to keep slapping each other until they stopped, and the scene took on a life of its own.
